A story about SARK
One of her first books, before she became well-known, was titled INSPIRATION SANDWICH, and it suggested housesitting as a creative way to live for free (or cheaply). Something clicked, and I put an ad in the paper that read “Fabulous Housesitter Seeks Fabulous House”... and I lived for TWO YEARS without paying any rent. (I don’t think newer editions include this little tip.) It was an interesting two years! And I’d like to thank her!
